HKSTP x Roche Data & Bioinformatics Bootcamp

HKSTP and Roche envision a world where people has the skills and knowledge to make informed decisions and positive system changes in healthcare using data and technology. With this common vision, we co-hosted a our very first Data and Bioinformatics Boot Camp, a 4-day event for local healthcare students and researchers to boost their analytics skills for research and patient advocacy, and to expose them to modern genomic technologies. Forty participants from HKSTP startups and local universities attended the full program. Twelve industry and academic experts served as trainers, guest lecturers and hackathon judges.
